I hope this is the correct place for this request.
We have a Shopify Payment app and we added a payment icon through the github repository here
A few months later we updated the icon to reflect new branding requirements which was approved and for example, displays correctly in Github
This new icon does not display on Shopify, both in the app configuration when trying to add the icon to the payment app, and on merchant stores. We have since disabled the broken icon while awaiting feedback on this github issue 1178

I am not sure how to get this resolved
