does anybody know why I can’t add my bank account to shopify payments? Every time I add my Iban to Shopify Payments it says that this bank account cannot be used and I made sure that the bank account can be used.

This could be for a variety of reasons. To be eligible, a bank account must be a checking account or current account that can receive transfers and is eligible to receive payouts in a currency that Shopify supports for your country. Checking accounts that are set up to accept only wire transfers don’t work with Shopify Payments. You can learn more about the bank requirements in greater detail here.

hi Dirk, my account is surely an account that can receive transfer (I used Worldfirst). Why it kept saying I cannot add the bank account?

This is the answer from the Worldfirst agent: “I have just checked with my manager and unfortunately, WorldFirst and Shopify can`t be linked via GBP.”
