Shopify Payments

Dear Shopify Community Team,

I’m experiencing a delay with my Shopify Payments validation. The popup message “Information required: Update some information about your business to continue using Shopify Payments” keeps appearing. When I click on it, I can see that all the information is updated.

I have been waiting for almost 20 days now. A 3 week ago, I filed a support Many tickets, but have not received a response yet. I really need to get verified as soon as possible.

Is there something I can do in my account to resolve this, or is there an issue on your end?

I carefully read your comment. In my opinion, it’s unacceptable to wait around for weeks just to get a response about funds that should have settled in your bank within 24 to 48 hours. Unfortunately, you cannot control Shopify’s policy but you do have decision-making power. Here’s how to fix the problem.

Alternative Solutions

  1. Quickly implement an alternative payment processor while waiting for Shopify to resolve the problem. The cost/investment is $0.00.
  2. I strongly recommend switching to a Shopify-approved “Third Party Payment Processor” as soon as possible.
