I have a problem with my Shopify store and I was hoping to get some advice or clarification. Here’s the situation:
I recently opened a new store with Shopify payments. After receiving money for only 2 orders out of 30, I received a fulfillment review email from Shopify asking me to send proof that I’m fulfilling the orders. Among other things, they put my payouts on hold, and that day I was supposed to receive money for almost all orders.
I submitted the required documents they asked for after 10 minutes, but it seems that the process is taking longer than expected. 6 days, 4 of which are business. This is causing a cash flow problem, because I need these funds to manage my operations. This really doesn’t make sense and I’m very upset because I’ve been waiting for money for over 30 orders for 7 days that I can’t fulfill without money because I have to pay my supplier and there’s been no response
This is just nonsense now, when I chat with support via live chat they say to wait and that they can’t do anything about it, or possibly that they forwarded the ticket to someone above them and that it’s better not to call support because they will process the review faster because I’m slowing it down . In addition, I replied directly to the email through which the review was received, but I did not receive a reply there either. Really shameful and irresponsible for a big company like Shopify.
Store is located in UK and it’s on UK Company. And it’s not any restriced or dangerous or 18+ product. It’s normal type of product
