Shopify - please, please, please add an 'in-line reply' feature to the blog!

Shopify Team,

I know it’s been posted before - however there hasn’t been action on it. Can you please add an in-line reply feature to the blog?

For those of us that extensively blog the current workflow and visualization of not being able to reply to a person’s comment is counterproductive and will cost sales (which we all want!).

Request:

  • Customer leaves a comment on a blog article

  • Store Owner should be able to replay to that person directly in-line, stepped in so if there are multiple comments it is easy to see when a new one starts

  • An email should go to the original customer when the Store Owner leaves a reply thus proving a personal outreach opportunity and a way to bring the Customer back to the site.

I know most of Shopify is focused on the ecommerce platform (which is amazing!) - however, many of us use the blogging feature to create unique content that brings customers to the site and having this feature will really be useful in interacting with Customers.

Hi @iamEkho - I agree that this should be a default feature in Shopify, it blows my mind that they didn’t consider this (or add it in the recent years).

To solve this pain point for my freelance and other app clients, I built a small little Shopify app for email notifications, comment replies, blog ratings, etc.
