I’m using Shopify Plus and had a question about addresses.
Does Shopify Plus support adding a national address format natively (without using a third-party app, custom workaround)?
We’re trying to make sure our checkout and customer address fields match our country’s official address structure, and I want to know what’s possible out of the box with Plus.
how can i remove the currect address and pass data direct from national address to the shopify.
If anyone has experience with this or has implemented something similar, I’d really appreciate your insights.
From what I’ve seen, Shopify (including Plus) doesn’t natively support fully custom “national address” formats at checkout. The address fields are largely fixed and controlled by Shopify.
Even on Plus, while you get more flexibility with checkout customization, you generally can’t remove or replace the core address fields entirely. Most implementations map the national address structure into Shopify’s existing address fields, or handle validation and formatting outside Shopify before passing the data in a compatible way.
I haven’t come across a true out-of-the-box solution for this, so I’d also be interested to hear if anyone has managed a cleaner native approach.

Capture a national address format and map it into Shopify’s standard fields
Bottom line:
Even on Plus, Shopify’s core address structure is fixed. The only way is to map your national address data into Shopify’s existing address fields, not replace them.
