Shopify Plus Features on Other Plans

I would love to see Shopify add some of their B2B features in their other plans. I’d even be willing to pay a little extra per month for features. It would be cool to have Vaulted Payments, Address Book for Multi Location stores, Case Quantities and Full Case Quantities, Separate Storefronts, and so on as added fees for Wholesalers that aren’t needing the full jump to Shopify Plus.

these clichés happen all the time.

Just do the math if X improves revenue A then just buy the thing and not burn money on lost opportunity costs from wishful thinking.

Don’t hold your breath, anything hypothetically made to be separate of PLUS then devalues PLUS.
Your asking a another company to lose money for your personal needs.
It’s cope to expect some billion dollar publicly traded company is gonna build your business for you.

Cool isn’t the same as actually needed, useful or profitable.
This is an entrepreneurial question not a movie making question.

If you aren’t making enough in margins to justify a 5 figure spend for a long list of features you think you need then you just don’t actually need them.
It’s not important enough to buy to make more money then it’s not important enough to spend any time thinking about instead of fixing realistic problems to make money
Set reasonable expectations to base requests on.

@PlexHDTotally agree with this. There’s a big gap between standard plans and Plus, and not every wholesaler needs that full jump. Having modular B2B features like vaulted payments, multi-location address books, and case quantity options as add-ons would make Shopify way more flexible. Feels like an easy win for both merchants and Shopify.

first be very specific of exactly what you want. Then you can ducttape various free/paid apps into shopify to get almost what you want. At the beginning, you can never any custom offering directly from shopify built just for you or anyone. And later as you grow, you can transition into better. Business is constant iteration.
