Shopify promises "NO Coding" in their ads

Hi!

Shopify promises “NO Coding needed” if you use this platform. Unfortunately, IT REQUIRES A LOT OF PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE!!!

I searched the internet and YouTube to solve these problems. Not even Shopify on their YouTube channel has a solution to these problems, there is NO video that help to solve these errors. It’s a bit sad, because solving these errors requires at least €2,000 in money to be paid to expert programmers.

The Google console steals a lot of our hours and energy, it is not fair at all!

It seems that even if you pay people you still can’t find a solution. I say this because I paid $1500 to an agency and they did absolutely nothing. I had to rebuild my shop myself again because they destroyed my shop in the google console. I no longer trust shopify partners…or whatever they are called!

I had rankmath and yoast, and still nothing was solved!

These errors simply have no solution, I have the impression…however, why do they appear in the console if no one knows how to solve them???

  1. Missing field “priceValidUntil” (in “offers”) schema.org
  2. Missing field “aggregateRating”
  3. Missing field “review”
  4. Missing field “hasMerchantReturnPolicy” (in “offers”)
  5. Missing field “shippingDetails” (in “offers”)
  6. Alternate page with proper canonical tag
  7. Blocked by robots.txt

In 2024, the shopify platform should stop giving errors in the google console!

Hi @BlackW1z4rd :waving_hand:

Shopify promises “NO Coding needed” if you use this platform.

Where? when making such a claim back it up with direct references.

Any such platforms marketing will say things like “You don’t need coding skills to build a stunning website on Shopify, but you can still edit HTML and CSS files if you’ve got them

Full complete thoughts are not responsible for misinterpreting part of what is being said.

These errors simply have no solution, I have the impression…however, why do they appear in the console if no one knows how to solve them???> > …> > In 2024, the shopify platform should stop giving errors in the google console!

Those schema.org issues are not errors the console EXPLICITLY says the items are still valid, those are extra things that take extra work IF a store even needs them at all of which can be found out by doing the proper research or hiring consultants with the proper expertise.

And who knows what’s going on with the crawler because a screenshot is not a suitable replacement for communicating a problem in text and using images as supplementary.

All in all these are SUPER common cliches of pitfalls new merchants put themselves in from lack of experience and self awareness of universal human experiences.

Look I get being new and not knowing what your doing is frustrating but this is business not charity and your so off the mark in attitude there’s no good way to correct this softly in a short amount of time.

Just because you don’t have the experience or haven’t spend the time on proper research to understand something, or paid someone to explain it to your properly does not in any way make it a platforms responsibility to fix something that is not broken.

This is business it takes money to make money by getting expertise.

When an out of the box experience needs custom work hire custom expertise and if you’ve had a bad experience before that should tell you something about how YOU go about seeking help which needs improvement.

I have seen this time and time again as a behavior in merchants that fail and don’t understand why, and I am telling you if you don’t step back and re-evaluate for a better level of self-awareness of how you deal with roadbumps you’ll keep making these same mistakes.

Good Luck.

Mr. Shopify Partner, it is easy to offend a person who is still looking for some solutions and cannot find them. And it makes sense that it frustrates you, it’s normal to be frustrated if you can’t find concrete answers to a problem.
Mr. Shopify partner, you assume that money invested in 2 agencies on UPwork, which did not solve my problem, on the contrary, they actually changed my code in the shopify theme. The thing that made me take the decision to close the online store. I assume that only 2 hours of sleep every night, and the second at work I have to work 10 hours where I have to be able to work because otherwise my boss will fire me. It is easy to assume and offend! If I were you Mr. Shopify partner, I would have answered something like “hey this problem is easy to solve and without an agency or paid applications” I would have said “I recommend these articles, read or watch them carefully” .
In your opinion as an expert, which site do you think Google will rank higher:
the one with those errors, or the site that doesn’t have those errors?
I’ll answer you too…google will position the site without errors higher, and the site with errors will be shadowbanned.
The idea is that there should be a section where people can solve these problems. Because sites like Upwork or Fiver are not reliable, from my experiences…I was fooled twice. I don’t trust anymore! I also had applications from the shopify app store, but the errors still persisted. Some applications modified my “ALT TEXT” product images in strange combinations of numbers. I’m not stingy, I’d rather pay than waste time. But it’s annoying when you still give money and don’t get what you need.
So please don’t accuse me of being impertinent or arrogant!
I wouldn’t have written this thread if we solved the problem!..Think logically!

And I don’t need your ‘‘good luck’’…this don’t help me…your comment don’t help!!

I need a useful and practical answer to this problem!

They are not errors as already previously explained.

You’ve self diagnosed and are self prescribing an insistence for a “solution” while actively ignoring expertise explaining the issue to you so luck is entirely necessary.

.google will position the site without errors higher, and the site with errors will be shadowbanned.

Again, citation wanted; yet again schema.org warnings|issues are not “errors”.

I would have said “I recommend these articles, read or watch them carefully” .
