Shopify Purchase Orders Feel Too Basic

I’ve been trying to manage my restocks directly inside Shopify, but the Purchase Order feature feels really basic.

When I place a PO, there’s no simple way to see what’s still on the way, what’s been partially received, or which quantities are still pending. My team keeps asking me what’s arriving and when because Shopify doesn’t show incoming stock very clearly.

We also have different suppliers with different prices, pack sizes, and lead times, and updating all of that manually every time is becoming a headache.

Is there an app that gives a smoother PO workflow and makes it easier to track incoming stock?

I had the same problem with Shopify’s PO setup. It was fine at first, but once I had multiple suppliers and partial shipments, it turned into a headache.

I ended up using Sumtracker, hands down the best PO management app. It did make it way easier to see what was incoming and what was still pending.
