I was online with shopify help (after hours of looping and trying to connect with their piss poor customer service/AI platform)
Then the rep, assumingly helping multiple people at one time sent me someone else’s bank account info…
I deleted the bank for this post…

This situation should be reported to Shopify immediately, as it violates privacy and security protocols.
1-Contact Shopify Support Directly:
2-Document the Incident:
- Save screenshots (with sensitive information redacted) for evidence.
- Provide timestamps and details about your conversation.
3-Request Confirmation:
- Ensure Shopify acknowledges the error and takes corrective actions to secure your account and others.
