Shopify Scripts are being switched off on 30 June 2026. ⚠️

f you’re on Shopify Plus and still using Scripts to run your checkout logic, discounts, shipping rules, or payment conditions, the clock is ticking.

And for a lot of Plus merchants, Scripts aren’t just a feature. They’re the backbone of how your store operates.

:shopping_cart: BOGOF offers
:money_bag: Tiered discounts by spend or quantity
:wrapped_gift: Gifts with purchase
:bust_in_silhouette: Customer-specific pricing
:package: Postcode-based delivery
:credit_card: Hidden or reordered payment methods

The rules that quietly keep your business running the way it’s supposed to.

When Scripts go, all of that goes with them. Unless you’ve already migrated.

Shopify’s answer is Shopify Functions. And yes, it’s the right path forward. But migrating isn’t just a copy-paste job. Every store is different. Every script has a reason it was written.

The real question isn’t just what’s the replacement. It’s whether you want to understand what you actually have before June arrives, or spend that month firefighting while orders are live. :fire:

Start with an audit. Know exactly what your Scripts are doing. Know what breaks without them.

I work with Shopify Plus merchants to review their existing scripts, map them to Shopify Functions, and build something clean, maintainable, and actually owned by the business. Not held together by tribal knowledge. :hammer_and_wrench:

If your promotions are strategic or your checkout logic is doing real commercial work, let’s have a conversation before it becomes urgent.
