Hello Everyone,
Following the recent announcement for the Shopify self service return feature, I wanted to inquire if it is possible to add the new customer accounts URL to our store’s footer 2 times and separate them with different names.
1 field named Return request (ideally for return and refund requests)
1 field named Exchange request (ideally for exchange instead of refund)
If that can be done, is it also possible to have 2 different sets of notifications to send to clients ? below example taken from:
https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/self-serve-returns/setting-up-returns#customer-experience
Return request confirmation: Sent automatically to the customer after they request a return.
Return request approved: Sent to the customer when you approve a return request. This notification includes return shipping information, such as a return shipping label that you upload when approving a return request.
Return request declined: Sent to the customer with a message that indicates why a return request was declined. You can edit the message to the customer.
And another set for exchange:
Exchange request confirmation: Sent automatically to the customer after they request a return.
Exchange request approved: Sent to the customer when you approve a return request. This notification includes return shipping information, such as a return shipping label that you upload when approving a return request.
Exchange request declined: Sent to the customer with a message that indicates why a return request was declined. You can edit the message to the customer.
In essence both options would be the same, to return the item back to the store, however from a clients perspective they would be choosing to return or exchange the item.
It would also make it easier for us to differentiate what the client really wants to do, Return for refund or return for exchange and we can then communicate with the client for exchange purposes.
I hope i was able to explain this inquiry clearly.
Thanks to anyone that responds to this inquiry.
Best regards,
Yeghig
