Shopify Sellers: Free Payout Reconciliation & Margin Analysis — Looking for Beta Feedback (Run by a Fractional CFO)

Hi everyone,

I’m Fey — a Fractional CFO with $40M+ P&L experience, and I’m building AuraLedger, an automated bookkeeping and reconciliation tool built specifically for Shopify and Amazon sellers.

Before I finalize the product, I want to run it against real seller data — and in exchange, I’m offering something I think is genuinely useful:

What you get (completely free):

  • A full reconciliation of your last 2-3 months of Shopify data — gross sales broken out from processing fees, sales tax collected, and net deposits
  • A per-SKU margin breakdown showing your real profit per product after fees and cost of goods
  • Multi-state sales tax liability tracking — what you actually owe each state vs. what Amazon already remitted on your behalf
  • A 30-minute walkthrough with me personally explaining what your numbers actually mean for your business

What I need from you:

  • A CSV export of your last 2-3 months of orders from Shopify admin (takes about 3 minutes to export)
  • Your payout summary export from Shopify Finances
  • 30 minutes on a video call to walk through the output together
  • Honest feedback on what’s useful, what’s confusing, and what’s missing

Who this is for:
This works best for sellers doing at least $5,000/month in Shopify revenue, especially if you also sell on Amazon FBA. The more channels you sell on, the more useful this analysis gets.

Why am I doing this for free?
I want to make sure AuraLedger solves real problems for real sellers before it goes to market — not problems I assumed existed. The only way to know that is to run it against real data with real sellers and hear honest feedback.

I’m looking for 5 sellers for this first round. If you’re interested or have questions, reply here or message me directly.

Hey @AuraLedger ,

This sounds like a valuable initiative, especially for Shopify sellers who often struggle to get a clear picture of their true margins after payment processing fees, taxes, refunds and product costs.

A lot of merchants look at their revenue numbers but don’t always have an accurate view of their actual profitability per product or channel. A reconciliation tool that brings those details together could be very helpful.

I’d be interested to understand more about how AuraLedger handles areas like refunds, discounts, shipping costs, payment gateway fees, and inventory/COGS calculations as these usually have a big impact on the final margin numbers.

Looking forward to seeing how this develops, and I’m sure many Shopify sellers will find this kind of analysis useful.

Best of luck with the launch!

Thank You !
