Shopify Shipping - Highest Cost Profile Only, Not Combined

Is it possible to use Shopify shipping and delivery and have separate profiles for a number of products, and if a product from each profile is put into the basket then only the single highest rate is used - rather than combined all the rates together. ie,

product A £10 postage
product B £15 postage
product C £5 postage

currently if the three products are chosen, the customer is charged £30 for postage, whereas I’d like them to be charged £15 (the highest of the three shipping rates).

Can this be done with the inbuilt Shopify shipping?

Unfortunately, this cannot be achieved with the inbuilt Shopify shipping as when using multiple shipping profiles, if orders contain products from different profiles or locations, this will result in combined rates at the checkout. Currently, the only available workaround would be to use an app like** Multi Carrier Shipping Label App** to set up more specific shipping rules as mentioned by you.

That’s what we’d worked out - but had hoped for a “do not combine tick box”…
