You should hire more people so you don’t have to hide behind these lame excuses like “we will contact you as soon as possible.” Do you even care that someone is trying to do business on your platform?
You terminated the store that wasn’t even live yet — it was still under design — and you haven’t provided a single valid reason for that. If I have done something wrong, then at least give me a clear reason.
I have been asking for guidance for a month, and all I get is, “We have issued a ticket to speed up your process; the team will respond to you as soon as possible.” They will probably show up in a year or something because a billion-dollar company doesn’t have enough team members to solve these issues. Isn’t that hilarious?
I don’t mean to be rude; of course, this can happen to anyone, but who takes a month just to review the store and give a clear reason and guidance to reactivate it?
I’m done. I don’t want to waste any more time on this shoddy platform, waiting for help while you keep ignoring me no matter where I raise my voice. I have tried Facebook, chat support, email, and the community as well.
The fun fact is that I requested to remove the domain pointing to my previous inactive store so I could add it to the new store because the domain won’t verify ownership until the technical team removes it from the inactive store.
And guess what? I talked to the chat advisor multiple times, and the technical team still couldn’t do it within a week.
That’s it — I’m moving to WordPress, where I won’t need the help of a support team that doesn’t show up in a month. I added my domain there without any trouble, while your team didn’t bother to remove it from an inactive store. It took me just 5 minutes to add that domain to my WordPress e-commerce store.
So thank you very much, Shopify, for making me realize that I couldn’t do business on your terrible platform. Goodbye.
