A Customer on my store just placed an order and paid with iDeal Payment Process (they are base in Netherlands).

I dont think this was set up on my store as the payment options were the standardised options.

However, payment was made and now the payment status is payment processing:

At the same time of this transaction went through, i received two emails from Shopify saying that Bancontact and iDeal was disabled:

They payment has now been processing for a few hours - but i am unsure if this will go through as iDeal wasnt set up and prior and was instantly disabled. Even if this is the case, how were the customer able to pay with iDeal?

Or am i overthinking this and it will process soon?

It would be best to reach out to Shopify support team directly so, they can further check the status of your customer’s payments on their end if possible. You can reach out to them by going through their Shopify Help Center and enter your concern on AI chat box, respond to it until the “I still need help” or “chat with a support advisor” option appear.

For a better solution, use the third party “Shopify Stripe Checkout”.
