Hi all,
I recently started facing a serious technical issue on my Shopify-based website that provides FRP-related guides, Android unlock tutorials, and downloadable resources for users who need help with device verification problems. The store was working perfectly fine for several months, but after adding multiple educational blog articles, redirect buttons, and external download references for FRP tools, the entire website performance started becoming unstable. Some visitors report that pages load normally, while others see incomplete layouts, missing CSS styling, or endless loading circles. In some cases, product pages open correctly but the blog section becomes completely inaccessible. I initially thought it was a temporary CDN issue, but the problem has now continued for several weeks and seems to be getting worse every day.
Another strange thing I noticed is that Shopify admin analytics show normal traffic levels, but the frontend experience is inconsistent depending on the visitor’s location and device type. Mobile users especially complain that the website freezes after clicking download-related buttons or navigating between tutorial pages. I checked browser console logs and occasionally noticed script timeout warnings, delayed JavaScript execution, and random app embed conflicts, but nothing points clearly to one exact source of the problem. I also disabled a few recently installed apps including SEO optimizers and popup tools, but the instability still remains. Sometimes the store loads very fast for a few hours and then suddenly becomes extremely slow again without any changes being made from my side.
The issue became more serious after Google started indexing newer FRP tutorial pages on the website. Since then, Shopify seems to struggle handling larger article pages containing screenshots, step-by-step unlocking instructions, and embedded media sections. I optimized many images manually and even removed unnecessary animations from the theme, yet the Lighthouse performance score still drops dramatically during peak traffic periods. What confuses me the most is that Shopify hosting itself should normally handle this amount of content without major issues. I also noticed that some external links pointing toward FRP utility files occasionally trigger security warnings or delayed redirects, and I’m wondering if this behavior could somehow affect the store’s overall speed or trust score internally.
I attempted several troubleshooting methods including changing themes, disabling lazy loading, reducing third-party scripts, and testing duplicate pages on a development store. Surprisingly, the duplicate test store performs much better even with nearly identical content. This makes me suspect there could be hidden conflicts related to app leftovers, corrupted theme settings, or database/cache synchronization problems inside the main store. The most frustrating part is that Shopify support only suggested basic optimization steps and did not identify any deeper technical cause. I also checked Cloudflare settings because I use additional security protection for some resource pages, but no obvious firewall blocks or bandwidth spikes appear in the logs.
Another thing I observed is that the problem becomes worse whenever new tutorial content gets published and shared through social platforms. Traffic spikes seem to trigger temporary slowdowns where some visitors receive “page unavailable” errors while others can still browse normally. I’m not sure whether Shopify automatically limits certain requests related to downloadable resources or external redirect-heavy pages. Some users even reported that after opening two or three tutorial pages, the navigation menu stops responding completely until they refresh the website. This behavior does not happen consistently, which makes debugging extremely difficult. I also tested multiple browsers including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and mobile WebView environments, and the results vary each time.
At this point, I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has managed a Shopify website containing technical tutorials, Android-related downloads, or high-volume educational content with many outbound redirects. I am trying to understand whether this is primarily a Shopify performance limitation, an app conflict, a security filtering issue, or something related to how FRP-related resources are being handled by the platform infrastructure. If anyone has experienced similar instability, random frontend slowdowns, partial page rendering, or inconsistent behavior after scaling content-heavy tutorial sections, I would genuinely appreciate guidance on where I should focus next because standard optimization methods no longer seem to solve the issue.
