I had problems with my email back in March and fixed it a week or so later when i realized what was happening. I get emails from everywhere but Shopify stores (order confirmations, invoices, etc), and stores are not competent enough to solve the problem.
Shopify won’t even talk to me unless I create a trial store. It’s frustrating that customers have to reach out individually to every single store to update an email address.
