For weeks, my store has been frozen because of overdue payments.
3 days ago, I tried to pay this overdue balance with my Shopify spending card.
I could not do this because my spending card has been locked with no explanation other than for “security reasons”!
I could not transfer the balance to a personal card to pay off the balance, either, because of my spending card being frozen.
Three times prior to this email I have reached out to support agents, being nothing but patient while expecting some feedback/solution.
My first attempt was two days before this, and this is now the end of day three having heard nothing back from the Spending Team.
I understand I am not first in line, but 3 days after reaching out and having nothing sent back to me is unacceptable.
This is my last attempt before I escalate this issue elsewhere.
I need
- to be able to transfer funds from my locked spending card to a personal card so I can pay off my overdue subscription fees
or, better,
- to have my spending card unlocked so I can pay the bill with that.
If this cannot be done immediately I need an estimated time of when this can be completed, or I will be forced to escalate my complaint outside of Shopify.
Having to wait days/weeks for Shopify to allow me to willingly GIVE them the same money they’re trying to keep me from does not make sense at all to me!
