Shopify charges an additional commission/fee for payment providers other than Shopify Payments on Shopify Checkout. The only way to avoid this cost is to use third-party, independent Checkout solutions, ideally Shopify Stripe Checkout. All data is visible through the Stripe dashboard, everything is quite transparent, and the payout is very stable with Stripe.
