I made a website. And while I was making it, I checked whether the email was receivable. However, if a customer leaves an inquiry message for me in the contact form, I do not receive an email.
Before I talk about the problem, let me tell you a few things.
- I can send and receive email directly to the Workspace domain.
- Insert into sender email: Gmail can be received, Workspace email cannot be received.
I have some doubts and speculations here.
- TXT Records Problem.
- CNAME problem.
- Others
Even the Shopify customer center could not solve it. Shopify told me to contact Google. So I contacted Google, but nothing happened. Google told me to ask Shopify.
Even the big American corporations couldn’t solve this problem.

Here’s how I would approach this:

If you haven’t already, check the spam folder in your email client. If you’re email client has automatic spam filtering, try turning that off.

If 1 doesn’t work, change the email in Shopify settings to a standard web email address (for example some_email_address@gmail.com) and see if you receive the email there (and check the spam folder).

Now you should know whether the problem is the form or your email domain. If it’s the form, contact the theme developer, or test on the original theme that you downloaded in your store. If it’s the email, then contact your email service provider and share with them the results of your test.

- There is nothing in the spam folder.
- If I switch to Gmail, I can receive emails. Only domain emails I can’t receive.
- Changed the theme twice, transferred domain once, and rejoined Gsuite. Nothing has changed.
