Why is it that despite the fact the store has been shut down and my order was never marked as shipped shopify verified the charges with my bank therefore declining my refund. Seems to me that it’s a great front for scammers

If the store has already been closed or shutdown, then we’d recommend contacting your bank or credit card provider and notifying them of the transaction so they can further assist you with recovering the funds.
