I receive a mail from shopify team
Telling me I’m using unlicensed setup? And I they say :
You have 15 days remaining to complete the validation process. Failure to comply will result in:
- Immediate removal from Google search results
- Restricted access to key features, including live visitor tracking and sales tools
- Potential account suspension
And I have to provide my bussiness número abd website url
The mail don’t have picture but is ussing the adress 151 o’ connor st

Let me ask you first if I send you mail from santa_clause@gmail and tell you you have a lot of gifts waiting for you, but URGENTLY you need to pay just a small “shipping fee” would you believe me?

“Shopify will only send emails from official domains such as @shopify.com, @email.shopify.com, @em.shopify.com, and @shopify-billpay.melio.com. Emails from public email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, Apple mail, or Hotmail aren’t from Shopify and should be treated as potential phishing attempts.”
If you search here or just Google you will find hundreds of topics with similar emails, like trying to pay for a free theme and so on.
Do not fall for urgency in the email subject, research a bit, look here or on Google, and do not click any link in those emails. And do not reply back either.
