Does Shopify offer any canned cookie permission and or cookie disclaimers to aid their customers with compliant information to add to their Shopify sites?

Shopify Privacy & Compliance is an app that helps merchants to meet applicable privacy regulations. By using the app, you can set up any of the following to display on your online store:
- A cookie consent banner, which asks visitors for their consent to use cookies to collect data. This is required by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and laws in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
- A cookie preferences pop-up. The cookie preferences pop-up adds a link in the cookie consent banner to manage preferences. A visitor to an online store can then choose which types of data a merchant can collect. Allowing visitors to choose granular consent is also required by the GDPR and other privacy regulations.
- A data collection opt-out page. The data collection opt-out page, also referred to as the do not sell or share my personal information page, lets online store visitors opt-out of the selling or sharing of their personal data. This opt-out page is required by certain US State Laws.
Note: You should verify that the default content in the app is applicable to your business and any third parties that you might install on your store. Consult external legal counsel to discuss questions you might have that are specific to your business and your privacy obligations.
