A user is building a “Coming soon” landing page using Shopify with images created in Canva for the Hero section. The bottom section includes a custom-coded poll and email signup form (not using Shopify apps).
Core Issue:
The page displays correctly on desktop but has significant layout problems on mobile devices
Website link provided (reversed in original post)
Troubleshooting Attempts:
Consulted 3 different AI platforms without success
Created smaller pixel versions of images and uploaded them to Mobile Media settings
Tried code solutions previously suggested to other users facing similar issues
None of these approaches have resolved the mobile display problem. The user is seeking help to fix the responsive design issues.

I’m trying to build a “Coming soon” landing page for my product. I used Canva to make my store and uploaded the images onto the Hero. The last page at the bottom was done using code (AI) as I needed a poll. The email sign up bar at the bottom is also done using code and not through the Shopify app.
The website looks perfect on desktop but horrible on mobile! I tried the codes that you guys have given to other people facing a similar problem, but it never worked.
I also tried making a smaller px version of the images and uploaded them on Mobile Media, still never worked. It’s driving me crazy, I asked 3 different AI platforms and done everything it said. NOTHING! Please help.
The forums are for singular scoped questions not rebuilding an entire set of generated code.
Pare down the problem to small parts don’t try to get others to fix an entire pile of a mess for free.
Not all code applies to all other code.
You still need context and knowing what your doing.
The same applies to “AI” generating code it’s not magic it’s a STARTING POINT.
You still need to invest in putting someone’s expertise & time into getting to the end.
You can also try the sidekick “AI” built into shopify and prompt it to build a section to specifications.
But if you value your time just hire someone and move on to actual business matters.
I do private close protection and chauffeuring for UHNW people. I have 3 clients who are interested in investing in this business. Problem is, I told all 3 to standby. I don’t want to speak to these people without anything to show for it and end up wasting the opportunities.
I need to have something to show them! I can’t just say “I have an idea”. Everyone has ideas.
I’m on a budget. I want to spend more on running ads which is the next stage once my website is good to go. This isn’t going to be my main website! I will have that built professionally. This is just a “Coming Soon” landing page with a poll at the bottom.
I got this far considering this is the first time I’m building a website. I might as well try to learn what I can. If your saying it’s a very difficult task. Then Thank you, I will take your advice and pay to have it done.
The link above is the website landing page I made. Check the link out on desktop, then on mobile. You’ll see how terrible it looks on mobile. It has massive gaps in-between pages and the poll is all messed up.
No I understand perfectly, your not the first to not bother to break down a bigger problem, and not the first or last to ignore very clear wisdom of subject matter experts.
If your trying to build a site, especially an MVP, just follow the simplistic advice as given.
Work on smaller problems to respect your time and others time.
Use the existing tools you already pay for as a starting point.
The sidekick ai, or theme generator are part of paid plans above Starter level. https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/adding-themes#generate-a-free-theme
Then your sample should be fine as is. MVP’s don’t need to be perfect nor work on all devices, screen sizes.
Can target audience get the idea, or better can they go from A to B ( interest to goal) with actual impact. (does it make/save them time/money).
If a potentials investors hesitation is because your not some rockstar coder/designer, that’s just a scarecrow they were never gonna invest.
Investments are typically specifically to be able address minutiae like that.
If you must use a page builder go through the app store to at least ensure some level of shopify-compatibility/shopify-theme compatibility or you can end up back to square one; and either way you can end up locking your content/design in yet another proprietary platform.
I resolved it.
I did take the simplistic approach. I started a new theme and made it from scratch. This resolved the problem. Please feel do me a favour and check mobile and desktop version. I’d love to hear more criticism. Thats the best way to grow .
