Today I found that Shopify had redesigned their page to add a new Collection, ok fine, I go to add a product manually, and then… how to add another product?? There’s no obvious way to do it. You’d think there’d be a button or something next to the added product card.
After a few minutes I found it. It’s that discreet little tag icon in the top-right next to “Add condition”.
Who designed this?

Yes, this is part of Shopify’s recent UI update. They’ve redesigned the Collection page, and some actions—like adding another product—have been moved to different locations. It can definitely be confusing at first if you’re used to the previous layout.
Hopefully, Shopify will continue refining the interface based on user feedback and make these actions more intuitive in future updates.

I totally understand your frustration. Though the new collection builder is more visually appealing, it’s not obvious how to add more products. The little tag icon next to “Add condition” is really easy to miss as it doesn’t convey at all that it opens up the product selection window.
Currently, you can use the aforementioned tag icon to manually add more products. It would certainly make the process much easier if Shopify were to provide users with a button called “Add Products.”
Let’s hope that Shopify will fix this issue in one of the updates to come.
