We use Shipworks to fulfill orders from Shopify. Previously, Shopify provides fraud analysis data to Shipworks when orders are downloaded so it was very convenient for us to simply create a filter within Shipworks to segregate the medium and high risk orders. Unfortunately, Shopify has stopped providing the fraud analysis data to Shipworks in Shopify’s latest API. So, we have to manually screen the orders on Shopify website in order to find such potentially fraudulent orders. I wonder if we as a community can encourage Shopify to start providing such fraud analysis data again. Thanks.
You can use Order Automator app to tag risky orders (it pulls the data from the Shopify fraud analysis), you can also have it notify your team when a risky order comes in.
This feature is called Fraud Guard and it’s included in the free version of the app.

Thank you for the suggestion. This is a good alternative although not as automated as the Shipworks route. With Shipworks the medium and high risk orders could be automatically moved to a filter and their local status set to “In Process” so my staff cannot process the orders by accident.
