I just downloaded Dawn and switched my site over from Venture.
I was enticed with the free Shopify App called Reviews & Star Rating.
I am looking for a way to push an email after a customer has made a purchase so that they can review their product. I know there are other apps that do this (free & paid). I’ve tried them all and the backend SUCKS.
I’m thinking maybe there is a way to integrate Shopify Emails app with Shopify Reviews and make an automation? Has anyone figured this one out yet?
I’m fairly confident that this isn’t something that the Shopify review app will do on it’s own. However, you can use a service like Klaviyo or even the free Shopify Email and trigger a request for a review to be sent out X days after an order is placed, shipped or even delivered if you use Aftership and Klaviyo.
While it’s definitely possible, I recommend using a review app that already has these features built in. My favorite is Loox, another good option is Yotpo.

If you want to send email to customers who placed an order and ask for review, I would recommend you AVADA Email Marketing, which you can integrate with Judge.me or AVADA photo review app.
You can send emails asking for reviews after someone placed orders in your shop, send emails asking for product photos after someone left a good review on your store or send a thank-you email after customers submitted a review with photos. Give them a coupon for the next purchase.

I’m not into any of the paid/free review apps…i like how simple and clean the shopify one is, and the only downside is it won’t send the review requests!!
