Shopify's theme editor won't load up liquid

Shopifys theme editor won’t load up liquid and acts like it doesn’t it exist. This isnt a major issue since it still runs fine but its annoying when editing code because you don’t see the syntax of the code, is there any easy fix i can do, thanks.

Same here i hope it gets fixed ASAP.

I am also bearing the same issue, hope so it will set soon.

Same here. Hasn’t worked properly for about a day now. It loads every file type as Plain text, and triggers error messages when saving just about any theme file.

The theme editor is also buggy - the settings for sections and blocks either disappear entirely from the screen when attempting to make an edit, or they move from the right side to the bottom-left, and shrink the viewable area for the theme.

It’s funny to watch them change things. Every day they do something even more stupid. They moved the nav to the top which is confusing af, then the settings to the right, then to half height on the left, then back to the right but will change to the half height left on edit or if Sidekick is open. And then you got the nonstop changing the product/variant.. Not sure if they’re tweakers or drunkards…

It looks like they fixed the code editor. The theme editor is even worse for me in the latest version of Chrome - as soon as I try to edit any block nested in a section, the entire visual editor on the right-hand side of the screen just nopes out of there and disappears completely.

It works fine in Firefox, thankfully.
