If you’re only selling on your website and not on Facebook or Instagram, the message “Shops is no longer available in your region” shouldn’t directly impact your store’s sales. However, it can affect your Facebook Pixel tracking and Ads Manager if your Pixel was linked to Facebook Shops.
Why is this Happening?- Facebook Shops is a feature that lets businesses create a storefront on Facebook or Instagram. If it’s no longer available in your region, Facebook may have disabled certain integrations, which might be affecting your Pixel.
This can disrupt event tracking (like Add to Cart or Purchase) in Ads Manager, affecting your ad optimization and reporting.
How to Fix It:1. Check Your Pixel Connection:
Go to Events Manager on Facebook and check if your Pixel is still active and receiving events.
If events are not being tracked, you may need to reconnect your Pixel to your Shopify store.
Reconnect Your Pixel:
In Shopify, go to Settings > Apps and Sales Channels > Facebook & Instagram and ensure your Pixel is connected.
If needed, remove the Pixel and reconnect it. You can do this by:
Clicking Disconnect under Data Sharing Settings.
Reconnecting by choosing Maximum under Data Sharing for the best tracking accuracy.
Verify Pixel Events:
Use Facebook Pixel Helper (a browser extension) to see if events are firing correctly on your website.
Test events like PageView, Add to Cart, and Purchase.
Check Domain Verification:
Make sure your domain is verified in Business Settings > Brand Safety > Domains. If not, verify it to ensure proper Pixel tracking.
Update Data Sharing Settings:
If reconnecting doesn’t work, switch to Conversions API (CAPI) for more reliable tracking. This sends events directly from your server to Facebook, bypassing any browser-related issues.
My main point of sale is my website. However, I want my pixel to track things correctly.
My pixel is connected via the Facebook & Instagram App inside shopify, and also everything looks fine inside my Events manager, even though that message is still there.
