I am so confused…my current domain is uncommonvinyl.com but we just recently registered a DBA name that was more inclusive of all of our services. Should I do a redirect, sub domain or do I have to have a completely new website?

To Subdomain or Re-direct, that is the question!
and the answer is…well, it depends. If that domain is well positioned with SEO and your customers know it I would keep it and redirect the new one. If this is not the case, then you can use the new one and create a subdomain for uncommonvynil.com.
All this can be done very easily if you have them in Shopify or transfer them there.
