Should I group similar items together or keep them as separate products?

Say I have a collection of 3 poufs. They can all work together but are also nice individually.

Should I list them as 3 separate products (and show visitors that there are many options, maybe they like the green one?) or do I group them together because the redundancy can be a huge turnoff?

I’ve seen a modular shelving system that was listed as 10 different products. For a moment it seemed like that’s all the store had to offer. They’re really all just part of the same product but can be configured in so many different cool ways.

Thoughts?

Hello Drooza,

Keeping products as different product is the best way because customers can explore different products and can choose atleast one from them.

If you will keep one only one product and add different variants then rather than exploring them customers may skip the product and may leave the website.

So, showing same product with different colors as different products is the best way.
