Should I start a new store due to technical errors?

When I click to go on my product page I get this pupcoop.myshopify.com. saowhu

I’ve been getting a lot of these weird technical errors. Do you reckon I should just start a new store entirely?

Hi, @IanDang !

That is an odd error for sure, could you let me know a little more about your theme? I’ll run through some troubleshooting questions below and you can reply with the answers so we can resolve this for you.

  1. Is this a Shopify designed theme (Shopify themes are the free ones in our Theme Store!), or one from a third party that you would have paid for?
  2. Have you recently added any apps from our App Store that required you to add/edit your theme’s coding?
  3. Have you made any edits to your product description section recently? For example, edits to add any apps or rich text updates like adding a product spec tab/table?

It looks like a theme-related issue from what I can see in your screenshot, so I’d love to find out more about your theme.

The theme is debutify latest version. I haven’t done anything to mess with it like that so Im confused as to why this is happening. I’ve seen other people with debutify and theirs works fine. I

've added no apps myslef. I think debutify has apps when u download the theme. I have added a product description but not messed with anything else

Thank you,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

I’ve taken a closer look at the Debutify theme and it looks like this is part of an add-on you can add to the product page; it looks like the Product Bullet Point add on from the description in Debutifys help centre walkthrough video here.

So each of these ‘Example point text’ lines can be edited or removed from your storefront editor, it looks like there is just placeholder text there at the moment until you edit it with your own product specs. If you go to your admin and select Online Store > Themes, then click Customise beside your theme, you will open the editor. From here, you can select ‘Product > Default’ from this dropdown:

From there, you will see a sidebar menu on the left-hand side, you can click the small arrow beside ‘Product Bullet Point’ to expand the menu further. If you click on each individual point there, you can edit the points!

Or if you prefer, you can click on Theme Settings and untick Product Bullet Points as an option to show on your site. That should remove the text completely if it’s not something you’d like to have on your product page.

Let me know what you think!

Thank you so much! I appreciate the amount of effort you put in to help me and responding so quickly. You are amazing!
