Should I use an alt tag for this? This is on everyone of my product pages

Hi, I was looking for some guidance on my SEO. On every product page I have we have a photo in the description that shows icons and says free shipping and free 30 day returns. This is on every listing. Should I put in a Alt tag for this since its on every page or should I just let it be?

Will it make a difference for the SEO since it would be the same alt tag on every page?

The same alt tag would not give you any negative results for SEO purposes, nor would it give positive marks either. However, in my opinion, it is necessary to differentiate it for the different images you are adding it to.

Unless you are describing the exact same images, you should not be using the exact same alt text.

because when you add images to your online store, it’s important to make them accessible to customers who are blind or have low vision. You can do this by adding alternative text that accurately describes each image. Customers who use screen readers rely on alt text to communicate the content of images on your online store.
