Shopify Studio theme product page behavior: show a customization text box only when a specific product variant (option selection) is chosen. The text box must be required before “Add to cart” is allowed, and the entered text should display on the shopping cart page.
Context: The storefront link was shared but is currently down due to DNS updates.
Status: Another participant reports the same need and asks for a solution. No code, steps, or workaround have been provided yet; the issue remains unresolved and open.

I have a product with two variants. What I’m looking for is when 1 of the variants is selected, a text box appears so the customer can customize the product. I would like the text box to be required before they can add it to cart. I’d also like whatever custom text they enter to show up on the shopping cart page.
