Show discount for the customer before they choose to put it in the cart

Hi,

I’m using the Zendrop theme and when I add a discount in Shopify it doesn’t show on the product but is first shown when a product is placed in the cart.
I know that I can change the price on the product and then it shows a discount price, but it seems to be a complex way to do it. And it also doesn’t show a discounted price in the cart then. The other thing is also, that If I do so, I cannot add a regular discount that is shown in the cart, because then it will put a discount on the discounted price - like double it.
I would like to show the discount for the customer before they choose to put it in the cart and I would like to show the the discount in the cart and how much you save, without drawing double discount.
I hope my explanation makes sense and that anyone knows how to combine this?

Hi @MariaNorgaard

You can install this app to solve the above problems

Haptech: B2B/wholesale

Please see the images.

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

But it seems to not work with Shopify Online Store 2.0?

I tried to activate it, but it doesn’t seem to work.

@MariaNorgaard You try again, I see it works

Yes, It looks like it’s working now.

But a small detail is, that if I choose another variant, then the discount price disappears.

The discount is still shown in the cart though.

.

@MariaNorgaard I have fixed the error

Yes, that’s perfect. Thank you so much for your help

Hi @MariaNorgaard — your explanation makes perfect sense, and this is a really common frustration with Shopify’s default setup.

Shopify’s automatic discounts only show at checkout and in the cart, and if you manually adjust the product pricing using “compare at” prices, it creates issues when you want to apply other discounts—like you mentioned, it ends up stacking or showing as a double discount.

If you want to show the discount on the product page before the customer adds it to the cart, and still have it properly reflected in the cart without doubling up, you might want to try Klip Coupons: Sales and Discounts. It’s designed for this exact kind of situation.

With Klip, you can create a visual, clippable coupon that appears right on the product page (and optionally on the collection and cart pages too). The customer clicks it to apply the discount, and Klip handles applying it once—so no need to change your base product pricing.

Hi guy,
Will it also work for hydrogen site?
