Show image title or alt text in Artisan gallery?

Hello,

Is there a way to show the title or alt text of an image when the user hovers on the picture? Or even to just have the text stay there? I’m using the Artisan theme, here’s a direct link to the gallery. I need my customers to have an easier way to tell me which painting they choose instead of just describing it.

This is indeed possible, would you mind if we requested collaborator access to have this done? We can add the title on the bottom of the image automatically if that helps, otherwise it’s a more complicated task. Let us know if the first solution works for you!

I think it would look good at the bottom of each image. That way it would still show for people on mobile who can’t “hover”

Just as long as it doesn’t take away from the image or cover too much of it.

Into your page-paintings-template.liquid file!
