Show My HTML: My store isn't working properly

Almost every time I am in need of using the HTML text editor it is unavailable. If i wait a few minutes without reloading the page it fixes itself. But I also found I am unable to add an image inside my blog post. I click on insert image and then nothing happens as if I haven’t clicked on it.

Any idea how to fix that because it is somewhat annoying?

Thanks

Hi, @Venny_Newson !

Sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing troubles with your HTML editor as well as adding images to your blog posts. I understand how this would be annoying, and am happy to run through some troubleshooting steps with you. I’ve tested both the HTML editor and adding images to blog posts on my own browser and device (Google Chrome, on a desktop) and am not having any issues. This means it’s likely a localized issue with your device or browser.

First off, what browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser or different device, do these issues still occur? Also, make sure your images are in one of the required formats. From there, here are my suggested steps:

  • Make sure you’re using a supported browser, and that your browser is fully up to date. This is important.
  • Clear your cookies and cache, reboot the browser and try again.
  • Try a different browser, ensuring it’s supported.
  • Try another device, such as another computer or mobile phone.
  • Try another internet connection (switching to a cellular network on a phone rather than wifi, for example)
  • Ensure you do not have any firewalls or pop up blockers enabled on the device as these can interfere.

Let me know how all of this goes, and if this resolves what’s been happening! If not, be sure to let me know.

Yeah, it’s most probably an issue with my Google Chrome.

I tried Mozilla and it’s working fine.

Ah yes, sounds like an issue with your Chrome then, as it’s working on mine! Definitely make sure your Chrome browser is up to date if you haven’t already, and that any pop-up blockers or browser extensions are disabled as they can also interfere.

Thanks for the update and for resolving the topic as well though; glad it’s working on Mozilla for you!
