I am trying to sync products from shopify to google merchant account. Its seems I need to have (unit pricing measure [unit_pricing_measure] and unit pricing base measure [unit_pricing_base_measure]) populated.
the instructions I was given to address this issue were as follows:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Products.
- Click the product that you want to edit.
- Optional: If your product has variants, then in the Variants section, click the variant that you want to edit.
- In the Pricing section, uncheck the Show unit price for this product.
- Click save.
- Ensure all products and variants have this option unchecked.
There is no option in the pricing section to check Show unit price for this product.
I am having the same issue, I know that doesn’t answer you question, but it isn’t just you that is experiencing this issue.
If you talk to support, they can enable the feature. Although it’s in beta and currently targeted to EU customers. I did notice that it does not support imperial values such as oz. So, it’s still a work in progress. Although, I got another possible solution from google.
- Log in to your Merchant Center account
- Click on “Products”
- Go to “Feed”
- Click on the feed name “Content API”
- Go to “Feed rules”
- Click on “plus” icon
- Type “unit pricing base measure”
- Click on “Cancel”
- Now click on “Change”
- Select the option “Leave blank”
- Click on “Save draft”
Follow the same steps for “[unit pricing measure]”. Once you have made the changes, please allow 24-48 hours for the system to synchronize the changes made.
I just made the change, so it will take a few days to know if it actually works.
Update: I just ran a test and this is what the test stated, looks like it will fix the feed for now.
That is great if it works. I am running he test not to see if mine works!
It seems to work for me, so far.
