hello friends I am using the dawn theme and I want to use unit price for my products. My products are variants and I specified the unit price for each one, but I don’t know why it is not displayed on the product page.
I wanted to use this article, but its training is for other topics
https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/details/product-pricing/unit-pricing
Thank you for your help on how to fix this problem
Topic summary
Issue: Unit price is set for product variants in Shopify’s Dawn theme but does not display on the product page.
Context: The built-in Shopify help article on unit pricing was reviewed but did not resolve the display issue.
Requested outcome: Show a unit price on the product page, aligned as in an example. An attachment (screenshot) illustrates the desired placement/format.
Clarifications:
- Unit price: price per standardized measure (e.g., per kg, per liter).
- Variants: different options of a product (size, color, etc.) in Shopify.
- Dawn: Shopify’s free, default theme.
Recent updates:
- A helper asked for where/how the unit price should appear and requested the store URL to tailor code and alignment.
- The store URL cannot be shared; code is requested instead.
- The helper will attempt a solution on a development store and share code.
Status: Ongoing. No code or final fix provided yet.
Unanswered items:
- Exact placement in the Dawn product template and conditions for variant-specific unit price display.
- Implementation details for right-aligned formatting without store access.
Can you show like an example of how you want to show this and where?
All right. Will update you with the code.
Also can you please share your store url, it will be easy for me to provide code for you properly to align this on the right
Thanks
Unfortunately, this is not possible for us
Can you please write the relevant codes so that I can use it?
Yeah, no worries. Since you are on a free theme dawn I can give it a try on my development store.
Will let you know
