I’m having trouble with the cart drawer functionality in the Shrine theme v1.0.4 on my Shopify store. When I attempt to change the quantity of items or remove products directly within the cart drawer, the updates don’t reflect immediately. The subtotal and total prices stay the same unless I manually refresh the page, which affects the user experience.

Issue Summary:1. Quantity Updates: Changing the quantity in the cart drawer doesn’t update the subtotal or total until I refresh the page.

  1. Item Removal: Removing a product from the cart drawer doesn’t reflect immediately; the item remains visible until a refresh.
  2. Subtotal: Subtotals and total prices don’t adjust dynamically with quantity or item changes.

If anyone has encountered similar issues with the Shrine theme or has any specific fixes that allow the cart drawer to update quantities and remove items without requiring a page refresh, I would greatly appreciate your advice! I really need to fix the problem.

I have encountered a few like these as a developer for clients.

Not on the shrine theme yet but on other themes. From my experience I can say that this is how the theme is coded that needs a manual refresh to update which would be pretty odd, one solution to this is to ajax load the cart which will just refresh the cart and not the entire page.

The other thing is that the theme does is coded to update automatically but there might be some bug in the code which does not let the cart refresh.
