As per the screenshots, when I try to add to a list in a product description the auto format ruins the list. Picture 1 is the original list, picture 2 is what auto format does when I add a space to the end of the list. Needless to state, this is NOT productive.
Sounds like there is one list inside other list. So can you check </> icon on the right and paste code here?
Could be like ul li ul tags at start maybe.
When I add a blank line at the end to add to the list then it automatically reformats it to the second screenshot 
I should be able to add to the descriptive list with IN Shopify. Instead I have to copy the list to a text editor and then recopy the list back into the text editor. This is just PLAIN text. It is not interactive coding.
That’s easy. Instead of hitting enter, hit cntrl + enter. This is not a Shopify thing, it’s a computer thing lol
