Site Advice for Conversions please

I am getting decent traffic but my conversion rate needs help. I would appreciate any and all help with tips, tricks, criticism, anything. Thank you.

Only piece of advice would be to browse and search the forum first. There’s an entire category called Store Feedback, where you can view and read other stories and advice to your heart’s content. It can actually be quite comical, once you see the obvious red flags that people show and then they wonder why they don’t get sales…

Aside from browsing the forum, it would also be helpful if you shared your store’s url so we can take a look and provide feedback.

Hi @ABdev1

now the focus should be on improving conversions. Here are some helpful tips, tricks, and honest critiques that can guide you:

1. Review Your Product Pages
Make sure your images, descriptions, and pricing are clear and convincing. Customers should instantly understand the value of your product.

2. Speed & Mobile Optimization
Most traffic today is mobile. If your store loads slowly or looks cluttered on mobile, conversions drop quickly.

3. Improve Trust Signals
Add reviews, testimonials, trust badges, or guarantees. People buy when they feel safe.

4. Simplify the Checkout Process
Reduce unnecessary steps. Offer guest checkout, multiple payment methods, and show shipping costs early.

5. Analyze Your Traffic Sources
If traffic isn’t highly targeted, conversion rate will always be low. Focus on audiences that match your customer profile.

6. A/B Test Key Elements
Try different product titles, images, CTAs, or pricing strategies to see what performs better.

7. Optimize for Intent
Check if the landing pages match customer intent. If an ad brings users to a page that doesn’t answer their needs, they’ll leave.

Absolutely here it is www.autobongs.com

@ABdev1

Just checked out the site - I can see that you have put in a lot of work on it. Clean design, good navigation, the category organization is solid.

Few thoughts:

The homepage is really long. Not necessarily bad, but I’d want to know where people are actually dropping off. Are they scrolling through bongs and leaving before they see bubblers? Or bouncing right away? Different problems.

What’s your main traffic source? Paid social traffic (IG, TikTok) behaves completely differently than organic search. Someone who saw an ad and clicked is browsing. Someone who Googled “beaker bong 14mm” is buying. Your overall conversion rate might look low but actually be fine depending on the mix.

The trust stuff (Norton, Savedby, etc) is good but it’s mostly at the bottom of the homepage. If someone lands directly on a product page from an ad, they might never see it. Might be worth adding a small trust bar near the Add to Cart button.

What conversion rate are you seeing and where’s traffic mainly coming from? That would help narrow down what to look at.

Hi, @ABdev1
If you’re already getting decent traffic, then the good part is that people are interested in the product/store. The conversion issue is usually caused by trust gaps, friction during shopping, or the product pages not answering questions clearly enough.

Here’s what I’d work on first:

  1. Improve page speed and mobile experience
A slow mobile experience hurts conversions a lot.I checked your PageSpeed report and noticed the mobile LCP and FCP are quite high, which can definitely affect conversions.
  • Compressing large images
  • Removing unused apps/scripts

Even a 1-2 second improvement can help reduce drop-offs.
2. Make product pages more conversion-focused
Try adding short benefit-focused descriptions, delivery estimates near the Add to Cart button, FAQs, size/material details, and a sticky Add to Cart button on mobile. A lot of users drop off simply because basic questions aren’t answered quickly enough.

  1. Add more trust signals
For newer stores especially, trust signals can make a huge difference. Customer reviews/photos, secure payment icons, a clear return policy, visible contact info, and a simple Why choose us section all help visitors feel more comfortable purchasing.

  2. Reduce checkout friction
Keep checkout as simple as possible by enabling guest checkout, reducing unnecessary form fields, offering faster payment methods, and showing shipping costs upfront since unexpected fees are a major reason for cart abandonment.

5.Improve conversion incentives
Add stronger purchase incentives like free shipping, bundle offers, first-order discounts, or cart recovery emails to encourage visitors to complete checkout.

Usually, small improvements in trust, speed, and checkout flow together make the biggest difference in conversion rates.

If site speed is part of the issue, tools like Website Speedy can help simplify optimizations like image compression and script management.
