I have had my site for almost a year. For some reason when you try to google it, it doesn’t come up. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I would like to run ads but not until the site starts to show.

I don’t know about organic listings, as that depends on the quality of your website. As you can imagine, there are thousands of merchants maybe selling the same exact thing as you do.
From the perspective of organic search results, running shopping ads, is rather irrelevant regarding performance. Because the performance is linked to your data feed quality, your campaign setup and bidding strategies and ofcourse your website, but not as much as organic search results.

But performance for free shopping listings is pretty low. Compared to shopping ads you only get about 10% traffic. So investing a lot of time in just free listings first, is time consuming, and may cost you more in the end vs returns. Compared to paid ads, you can set up quality leads pretty quickly and easily.
