Sitemap Could not fetch in Google search console
I am trying to submit sitemaps in google search console but after submitting its showing message like sitemap could not fetch, I have validated sitemap URL, from Google search console, its showing fetch successful and also tried with 3rd party tool as well, sitemap URL has no issue.

Note: Website is developed in Shopify..

Shopify sitemap fetch error in GSC doesn’t necessarily mean your sitemap is broken. Here’s why it might happen:

  • Delay: Give it some time for Google to process the submitted sitemap.
  • Typos: Double-check the exact URL you entered in GSC.
  • Shopify Apps: Disable SEO or sitemap-related apps temporarily to rule out interference.
  • GSC Property: Ensure you submitted the sitemap to the correct GSC property for your store.
