Sitemap successfully submitted bu no URLS are showing

Hi,

I’ve successfully submitted my sitemap, but no URLS are being shown as discovered. Is that why none of my products are showing when I do a specific google search for them? Have I set my shop up correctly? It was published 4 days ago.

Hi there,
from Google itself:

  • Remember that sitemaps are a recommendation to Google about which pages you think are important; Google does not pledge to crawl every URL in a sitemap.

Also 4 days is not a long time, I’d suggest waiting a week or so and double check.

@HengamMarketing is right. As a new store, Google does not prioritize indexing your store pages.

If you want to quicken the process, I recommend that you also submit all the individual URLS to Google under URL inspection and request for indexing.
