Sketchy Websites Copied My Site. What do I do?

When I check my analytics, I’m getting tons of traffic from vossfavor.com and elleoutlets.com. I’ve also gotten a couple messages from people telling me they purchased items from me and never received them. But the items they mention are products I don’t even carry in my store. So, I assumed these were just spam messages. However, one of the people who messaged me said the charge was under “vossfavor.”

When I google “vossfavor” the search result shows the vossfavor.com url, but has my website’s description come up under it. Same thing with elleoutlets.com. So I looked at each website and each is an exact copy of my website (same colors, products, design, pop-ups), but just without the slider images and a different name at the top.

I contacted Shopify about this and they said to contact my domain provider, so I contacted Godaddy. They told me to file a complaint with the domain provider for the two sites, so I emailed a domain company called Regtons and I immediately got back a message saying that my message was spam. This email went to my spam folder, so now I’m not sure this domain provider is very legit either.

I have no idea what to do now. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Should I call Godaddy again? Or is this a Shopify issue?

I attached screenshots of what I’m referring to, so you can see what they’re doing. First 2 screenshots are these other sites. The third screenshot is my actual site.

Hi @nikniksboutique

I checked the other Website it has your logo too is your logo registered? It’s has your insta account too. How can they keep same insta account name and going to your niknik boutique account ?

I suspect all 3 website belong to same person hahahaha

The third website I took a screenshot of is my actual site. It’s nikniks.com.
The other two are owned by someone else according to the person at Godaddy
that I talked to when she looked them up.

@nikniksboutique

You’ll likely need to take the legal route on this one. Unfortunately I’m unsure myself of how to legally act on a case like this.

Did you already reach out to Shopify for more information?
