I want to put slide show images on my store. Can anyone tell me the best size in pixels to use?

Slideshow images, a good size is 1024x768 pixels, but for better quality, use 1400x2048 pixels or 1920x1080 pixels. Keep in mind the aspect ratio, 3:1 (landscape) is recommended.

File size is also important. Shopify recommends keeping image files under 20 MB, ideally around 100-200 KB for faster page loading.

Optimize your images for web use and compress them to reduce file sizes without sacrificing quality. This will improve page loading speeds and enhance user experience.

The image selection depends on the screen size:

  • For desktop: Choose images with a horizontal layout and a width greater than 1200px.
  • For mobile: Opt for images with a vertical layout and a width greater than 450px
