Slideshow for Product Page isn't working

Hi,

I’m in the Modular theme and am setting up my product pages. When I have multiple pictures for products, they are just stacked on top of each other and not showing in a slideshow (for desktop and mobile). In past Shopify stores, they would automatically be put into a slideshow on my product pages. Thanks in advance for the help!

In the Modular theme, the product images should normally display in a slideshow, but it seems like the image gallery might not be enabled or configured properly. Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check Theme Settings:

    • Go to your Shopify admin and navigate to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
    • Under Product Pages, look for any settings related to image display or image galleries. Ensure that the image slideshow is enabled.

  2. Check for Custom Code:

    • If you’ve added custom code or modified your theme, there might be an issue preventing the slideshow from showing. You can try reverting changes or checking the code for any conflicts in the product template or JavaScript.

  3. Check for Theme Updates:

    • Make sure your theme is up to date. Sometimes, an outdated theme can cause features like the image gallery to not work as expected.

  4. Check Your Image Sizes:

    • If your images are very large or small, it could impact how they display. Make sure the images are optimized for the web and of a suitable size for the theme’s gallery.

Hi Ashkay,

Thank you for your reply! I searched for the theme settings but everything is turned on. It must be something with the code.
Can I add you to my Shopify so you can check it out for me what’s wrong within the theme? That would be much appreciated!

Can you notify us when the changes are made? We still see that the pictures are now underneath each other instead of a slideshow. When can you make the changes?
