Slideshow is stuck on image slide 1 in Dawn theme

Hi there,

I’m using Dawn theme version 14.0.0

I wanted to change the image banner on my landing page to a slideshow banner with two slides. I deleted the existing image banner and added a slide show but for some reason, my slide show is stuck on slide image 1. It won’t let me even click the counter to move to slide 2. It only shows me the second slide if I move that slide up to slide 1 position (hence then I can’t see the first slide as it moves to position 2).

I can’t seem to find any information regarding similar issues, I don’t have any knowledge in coding at all but I know I didn’t edit any of the code for slideshow.

Looking for any assistance. This is my first time posting, apologies if I left out any obvious information.

Hi There,

Thank you for being willing to help me. No worries, I didn’t realise my
version was outdated, I was actually on version 12; not 14. I’ve updated it
and reset all the custom code. It works now.
